RESERVING YOUR REBATE
In many cases, our customers have made the decision to “Go Solar” but are just not quite ready for a variety of reasons. We can help! We can reserve your rebate for up to one (1) full year at the highest rebate rate available and then you have a full year to install your PV Solar System. This can mean thousands in additional rebate dollars by reserving at today’s higher rates even when they drop lower levels. So right now, you will still get $1.90/watt in rebate dollars even when they drop to $1.55/watt or less. Depending on the size of the system, that’s anywhere from $1000 to $3000 more money in your pocket than waiting until you are ready to apply for the rebate.
Now, securing and reserving your CA PV Solar System rebate from the State couldn't be easier! Simply call or write to set up the first of two on-site appointments to begin the process. We will analyze your annual energy usage/bills and needs to calculate the size of your system. We will take all roof-top solar measurements in order to complete all of the necessary paperwork and run the calculations through the EPBB Analysis calculator. We will choose one of our pre-designed systems or design a custom one to match your needs and budget and then complete the final estimate. Then, we'll complete all of your rebate application forms and mail everything to the state to reserve the rebate.
The state typically takes about 30 to 60 days to approve your rebate. Once it is approved they will mail a rebate reservation confirmation to you and then you're all set. The rebate reservation is good for one (1) full year and is good for Sunscape Solar or any other solar company (if you choose) to install your system.
