Sunscape Solar offers the two major types of PV Solar Systems: Grid-Tied and Grid-Tied with Battery Backup. The two start with similar components but the Battery Backup system adds a Charge Controller and a bank of batteries. The batteries must be protected from the elements and must be constantly cleaned and maintained to prevent corrosion. The cost factor of a Sunscape Grid-Tied System with Battery Backup is approximately 40% more than the same system without the battery backup capability. Go to the links below for more information.
